Where we'll be on race day

When it comes to the Cardiff Half Marathon we can’t wait to cheer you on and meet you on the big day. Check out our information below to see where you can find us.

Before your run

We're inviting all of our runners to come along to the Marie Curie Marquee at the charity village, at 9.15am, to wish you luck and so we can take a big Team Marie Curie group photo.

If you'd like to come and visit us throughout the day, we'll be in the marquee from 9.30am till 3pm (approx) with refreshments for our amazing runners.

We'll be there to cheer you on along the route when it comes to race day.

We hope we'll be hard to miss, so look out for us around mile 7. Our cheerers will hopefully spur you on with just under half the race to go!

If your friends and family would like to join us please do encourage them to do so, we have plenty of space at the cheer point where they will be able to cheer you on as you run past.

The cheer point will be located on Lloyd George Avenue just outside the Edward England Wharf. Please see the route map below. The Marie Curie cheer point is marked with a yellow star. For more detailed directions they can follow what3words to locate us: ///herds.keeps.caves. We will be there from 10am until 2:00pm.

If you've got iron-on letters, please do iron your name onto the front of your vest so we can cheer your name as you run past us!

After the run

We'll be waiting at the charity village to celebrate with you once you've crossed the finish line. Come and see us in the charity marquee - you'll spot our yellow banners - and we'll have refreshments waiting for you. It's a great meeting point for you and your friends and family too, so let them know to pop by.
