Are you or a loved one terminally ill and worrying about money? Sharing your experience can help shape our campaigns to improve the support available.
Do you share our wish for a better end of life for all? By adding a gift to Marie Curie in your Will you can help more people get the care of a Marie Curie Nurse, both for them and their loved ones.
Of course families want to be with their loved ones when they’re admitted to a Marie Curie hospice, and under normal circumstances we strongly believe in open visiting. But, since the pandemic, we've had to make some difficult decisions in this area.
Each of our nine hospices has worked with local healthcare partners to decide on what’s best. They’re all reviewing their visiting arrangements regularly:
Belfast
Bradford
Cardiff and the Vale
Edinburgh
Glasgow
Hampstead
Liverpool
Newcastle
West Midlands (Solihull)
We ask for your support, so we can we can protect patients, visitors and staff and continue to run as many services as possible.
If you're unable to visit the hospice, we'll always do our very best to help with supporting video calls to your loved one. This should be discussed with the local hospice teams.
If you, or someone you know, is affected by a terminal illness and concerned about coronavirus, our Support Line team are ready to help with the information you need when you need it. Call free on 0800 090 2309.
Our call-back service matches you with a friendly volunteer, who'll give you ongoing support when you just need to talk.
