Team Marie Curie on race day

Check out the information below to see exactly how you can support our amazing Marie Curie runners in the Dublin Marathon this year.

EXPO Running Show

All runners need to collect their Race Pack at the Irish Life Dublin Marathon EXPO taking place in the Main Hall of the Royal Dublin Society. The dates and times for collection are below. Please note the EXPO will be extremely busy from 12-2pm on Friday and 2-4pm on Saturday.

Friday 25 October: 12–7pm
Saturday 26 October: 9am–7pm

The cut-off time for race pack collection on Saturday is 6 pm.

Everything you need will be included in your pack and you won't need to collect anything on the day. Please visit the EXPO webpage   if you can't attend to collect your race pack, you can email office@dublinmarathon.ie with your queries.

Host your own cheer point

If your friends and family would like to come along to the race to cheer you on, we'd love to help you show as loads of support to our amazing runners. We'll send you your very own cheer materials to help you make as much noise as possible! The support you give from the sidelines really helps give our runners the boost they need to smash the race and cross the finish line.

Request a pack by sending an email to runningclub@mariecurie.org.uk by Wednesday 16th October, and we'll organise that to get sent out to you. Please make sure to include how many people you'll be attending with and an address to send your cheering materials to.

Don't forget to check out the official Dublin Marathon website   for more event day details, and keep an eye on your emails for the most up to date information on your timings, any health guidance and where you need to go on the morning of the event.

If you don't know anyone on the team but want to come down to support the amazing people taking part to help raise vital funds, you're more than welcome also.

Friends and family

There will be a live tracker on the official Dublin Marathon website  and app so they'll be able to track you to ensure they're able to cheer you on as you whizz past. A copy of the route map is below to help you decide where the best place is to cheer you on.

Check the Dublin Marathon website closer to event day for a link as well as their scoial media channels where they'll be sharing more info.

Make sure to also check out the official Frequesntly Asked Questions webpage   for any questions you may still have in the lead up to race day.
