Living with a terminal illness and looking for support? Our helpline officers are here to help you and your family every step of the way.

We can give you and the people you care about trusted information on everything from day-to-day care, to sorting out money matters or coping with your feelings. And we’re here when you just need someone to talk to.

Just give us a call and, whether you have an illness yourself or are a family member or friend, we can help you get the most from the time you have.

Online chat

We offer the same information and support that you can get on our Support Line through our online chat service. Simply click on the icon in the banner at the top of this page to start a conversation with a Support Line Officer.

Online chat is available during normal Support Line opening hours. Sometimes the Support Line team may be busy on other online conversations or phone calls, so if you can’t get through straightaway, please do try again in a few minutes.

You can find more information about how to use the online chat service and our terms and conditions on our online chat page.

Looking for out-of-hours help?

You can find lots of practical information and support on our How we can help pages, or share your experiences and talk to people to people in a similar siutation on our community. It’s anonymous and free to join.

If you need to talk to someone when our Support Line is closed, visit our directory of support organisations or read our information about out of hours help here.
