This world famous marathon draws runners from across the globe and is celebrated for its breathtaking scenery and unforgettable atmosphere. The stunning point to point route takes you along the shores of Loch Ness, through peaceful Highland landscapes, quiet roads, and dramatic vistas unique to this part of Scotland.
You'll begin your journey near the southern tip of Loch Ness and follow the spectacular route north toward Inverness, finishing in the heart of the city. With its serene beauty, rolling terrain, and legendary setting, it's an event that offers a marathon experience unlike any other.
Whether you're a seasoned marathoner or taking on your first 26.2 miles, the Baxters Loch Ness Marathon welcomes runners of all abilities. Come one, come all, and join us for what promises to be a truly extraordinary event with Team Marie Curie.

How the money you raise helps
£23 could pay for an hour of expert care and emotional support for someone living with a terminal illness, in the comfort of their own home.
£100 could help fund half an evening's care in a person's home when they need it most.
£200 could help fund nine hours of nursing support in someone's home through the night, bringing the expert care and comfort families need.
