The iconic Great North Run returns on Sunday 12th September 2027. Join Team Marie Curie and take part in the world's biggest and greatest half marathon - the Great North Run! Whether you're a seasoned runner or an excited first-timer, you could be part of the electric atmosphere of the Great North Run. You'll set off in the heart of Newcastle and pass some of the iconic sights of the city including the Tyne Bridge, being cheered by the rest of #TeamMarieCurie along the way. You'll cross the finish line in the coastal town of South Shields and be treated to a post-race massage in our Marie Curie tent! Got your place through the ballot? We'll send out your running top and fundraising pack to welcome you to the team.
