Experience an unforgettable festive evening by candlelight and celebrate the spirit of Christmas amidst the stunning surroundings of Southwark Cathedral. 

During this celebratory year, which marks the 150th anniversary of the scientist Marie Curie’s birth, we're delighted to invite you to celebrate the spirit of Christmas amidst the stunning surroundings of Southwark Cathedral and help raise funds to support the work of Marie Curie Nurses.

Beautiful music and readings

Jim CarterHosted by special guest Jim Carter, this concert will feature carols by candlelight, performances by one of opera's brightest stars, British soprano Lucy Crowe, and the renowned chamber choir Canticum, with seasonal readings by a host of celebrity guests*. A combined concert and reception ticket is available for those who would like to join us afterwards for drinks and canapés.

Tickets for the concert and reception are £60 each. Tickets for just the concert are £40 each. The concert starts at 7.00pm and finises at 8.15pm. The reception starts at 8.15pm and finishes at 9.30pm.

Donate a Christmas Star

As well as buying tickets to the concert, you can also donate £25 to name a Christmas Star for our tree, in memory of a loved one.

Each star will help pay for over an hour of nursing care. It will hang on the Christmas tree at the concert and your donation will be acknowledged in the concert programme.**

If you can't make the concert, you can still donate a Christmas Star.
