Participants are challenged to walk 100km with their dog in October, to raise funds for Marie Curie, so we can so we can provide more care for people at the end of life, whatever the illness.

No, this event is free for anyone to take part. However, any money you can raise for Marie Curie would really help us to reach more people who need our support.

The only thing that matters is that you challenge yourself. However much you achieve, we're so grateful for your support and for raising much needed funds for Marie Curie.

No, you can take part if you're 10 or 110! But, if you're under 16, you will need a parent or guardian to sign you up to the challenge. Please email events@social.mariecurie.org.uk with permission from your parent or guardian.

1. The Prize draw opens during 100km Dog Walk Challenge campaign between 09:00 GMT 24th October 2026 and 23:59 GMT 31st October 2026
2. This draw is open to all Marie Curie 100km Dog Walk Challenge participants. By entering 100km Dog Walk Challenge, participants confirm that they accept the terms and conditions set out below. All entrants (including team members) must be aged 18 years or over at the time of entry and legally reside within the UK. If a prize winner is found to be ineligible, Prostate Cancer UK reserves the right to award the prize to the next eligible winner.
3. Participants will be automatically entered into the draw by either receiving and/or self-donating to their JustGiving page a minimum of £5.00 during 100km Dog Walk Challenge campaign between 09:00 GMT 24th October 2026 and 23:59 GMT 31st October 2026. Note there is no limit to an individual receiving and/or self-donating a minimum of £5.00 on their JustGiving page. All fundraising will be tracked via your 100km Dog Walk JustGiving Page which will be linked to the overall JustGiving campaign page.
4.Offline donations, which is money that is not donated directly via the JustGiving fundraising page will not be considered.
5. Entry into the Prize Draw is limited to one (1) entry per applicant. Marie Curie an JustGiving reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify anyone that enters the Prize Draw in contravention of these terms and conditions.
6. There will be two (2) winners who will win the Prize available.
7. No cash alternatives to the Prize is available. Marie Curie reserves the right to substitute the prize (or any part of them) for alternative prizes of equivalent or greater value if this is necessary for reasons beyond its reasonable control.
8. After the Closing Date the winner will be selected at random by computer from all eligible entries received by Marie Curie before the Closing Date.
9. Marie Curie will email the winner using the email address they provided when registering for the challenge to join the 100km Dog Walk Challenge event from liz.brunold@mariecurie.org.uk no more then 5 working days of the draw end date.
11. The prize will be delivered by post to the Winner's valid address and postage will be covered by Marie Curie. We will need a confirmed UK postal address for the items to be sent.
12. Marie Curie will publish or make available the winner's title, first letter of surname and the town they live in. If you are selected as the winner, you must notify Marie Curie immediately if you are not agreeable to this information being published or made available, or that you require the amount of information published or made available to be reduced. Please note Marie Curie may be required to provide the winner's surname, the county they live in and email address to the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) to demonstrate that a valid draw has taken place, members that would not be agreeable to disclosure of this information to the ASA in the event they are the winner should not enter the Prize Draw.
13. If Marie Curie does not receive a response from the winners, or if the winner fails to validate their email being received by 6th November 2026 we reserve the right, at our absolute discretion, to consider that winners to have forfeited the Prize and to withdraw the Prize entitlement of that person and award the prize to a reserve who will also have been drawn out in accordance with section 6 above.
14. Marie Curie accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering this Prize Draw or accepting the Prize. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude the liability of Marie Curie for death, personal injury, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation as a result of our negligence.
15. Any personal data that Marie Curie collect in connection with this Prize Draw will be processed in accordance with our privacy policy - https://www.mariecurie.org.uk/privacy.
16. Marie Curie and JustGiving reserves the right to withdraw or amend either the Prize Draw or these terms and conditions at any time, and without notice, if this is necessary for reasons beyond its reasonable control.
17. By entering the Prize Draw, you will be deemed to have read and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.
18. The decision of Marie Curie is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. Entries that do not comply with these terms and conditions will be invalid and disqualified.
19. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and any disputes arising from these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
20. All entrants must be over the age of 18 years.
