A quiz, a bake sale, a get-together with friends, doing something in memory of a loved one or starting your own tradition. There are all kinds of ways to fundraise for Marie Curie this Christmas and our fundraising team is on hand to help you get started. Register by 18 December to get your free pack with everything you need to get your fundraiser going!

Once you've decided, register your fundraiser and we'll send you a free pack to help you get planning.

Bring people together this Christmas, have fun and help provide vital care for people at the end of life.

After you sign up we'll send your full fundraising pack in the post, including a fundraising guide full of tips and inspiration, posters, a collection box, a sweepstake poster and Marie Curie stickers. Want to add some finishing touches? You can also download extra materials including invitations, bunting and social media graphics.

Make a difference this Christmas

Whether you raise a little or a lot, your support helps us spread care, comfort and joy to people with terminal illness and their loved ones. £23 could help provide one hour of expert nursing care for someone living with a terminal illness at home. £52 could help provide two hours of bereavement support by phone or webchat. £200 could help provide nine hours of overnight nursing support, bringing comfort to a person in their final days at home.

A special last Christmas together

John's wife Debbie was cared for at Marie Curie Hospice, Cardiff and the Vale towards the end of her life. The hospice was decorated with trees and tinsel, and the staff made Christmas Day special for them both.

"I stayed overnight at the hospice on Christmas Eve, sleeping in a chair beside Deb's bed. Deb loved Christmas, and it meant a lot to her to experience that festive spirit just one more time. She even stayed up to watch Strictly Come Dancing, her favourite programme."
