In 2023, fundraising volunteers raised over £3.5 million to help us reach more people at the end of life.
We simply couldn’t continue our work without the support of our incredible fundraising volunteers who raise awareness and vital funds out in their local communities. From distributing collection boxes to supporting local fundraising groups, every hour volunteered and every penny raised makes a difference to people living with a terminal illness, and those close to them.

It is really lovely to feel like part of the local community and socialise, whilst supporting Marie Curie to make a difference. Volunteering with Marie Curie is like belonging to a family.
I have gained so much from the role and it’s really nice to be recognised by the public and be that familiar face for people to talk to.
