What if I become injured or need to cancel my place?

When will I receive my official race day information and race number?
Race packs for the majority of half marathon entrants who registered with Bath Half before 26th December should arrive on or before 2nd February, although some were withheld to our second mailing. Race packs for remaining half marathon entrants, and fun run entrants should arrive on or before 16th February.
These packs are sent out by the race organisers. The packs will include on-the-day information, your running number and race chip. Please do read all the enclosed information carefully.
When does the race start?
The race starts at 11am from Great Pulteney Street.
Many runners arrive at the village by 9am. At 10am they will open the start pens and begin the task of getting you all into place ready for the start.
Access to the Runners’ Village is from Bath Sports Centre on North Parade Road
Our Marie Curie marquee with help desk will be open from 8:30am in the Runners’ Village.
Where do I finish the race?
You’ll finish in Great Pulteney Street very near to where you started in the Runners’ Village.
Will there be toilets and drinks stations?
Toilets are provided at all first aid posts and at all drinks stations. There are further toilets in the Runners Village and inside the assembly area for each start bay.
Bottled water & Lucozade Sport will be provided on the left hand kerb at the following locations on the half marathon course:
- Bottled water: 2 miles, 5 miles, 8 miles, 10.5 miles, 12.5 miles
- Lucozade Sport (orange flavour): 4.5 miles, 10 miles
Further water and energy drinks are provided after the finish of the half marathon and fun run.
What will I receive as part of Team Marie Curie?
As part of the team you’ll receive:
- Running Zone with training plans, tips and advice
- Regular e-newsletters with fundraising support and advice to help you smash your target
- On-the-day support from our dedicated events team
- A Marie Curie running vest
- On-hand support from our fundraising team
- Hero’s welcome and refreshments waiting for you in the charity village
Where will Marie Curie be on the day?
We’ll have a dedicated cheer point so we can support you as you take on the challenge of this incredible event. We’ll also have a marquee in the charity village which you can come along to after the race. More information about our cheer points and the charity village will be sent to you closer to the event.
What if I need to update my personal details?
If you need to update your details please inform the event organisers. You can get in contact with them on their website Please make sure you also let us know of any changes.
What’s the age limit?
Half marathon entrants must be 17 years or older on race day.
What should I do about travel and accommodation?
