Being part of #TeamMarieCurie, the official Charity of the Year, is your chance to help people living with a terminal illness. It means we can continue to provide expert care, give support over the phone, and push for a better end of life for all.

As the Charity of the Year, we expect to receive a record level of applications; do apply as soon as possible, alongside entering the public ballot, to have the best chance of taking part.

You’ll make a genuine difference to people living with terminal illness, helping to protect their dignity and relieve pain. You’ll also help families at breaking point, support carers under pressure, and give loved ones the emotional comfort of an expert ear. Step by step, we’ll do all this together – as part of the largest, loudest and proudest team on Marathon Day!

TCS London Marathon public ballot

The TCS London Marathon public ballot will be live from Friday 25 April – Friday 2 May. If you're lucky enough to secure a place via the ballot, we would love for you to run as part of #TeamMarieCurie.

You will receive the same support as our charity place runners, and there is no fundraising target – all we ask is you simply raise as much as you can.

on-hand support from our dedicated fundraising team, from when you sign up to the finish line
a free Marie Curie running top or vest which you can wear with pride

loud and proud cheer stations to spur you on through those tough miles
