For current volunteers
Every year over 30,000 volunteers donate their time and skills to help Marie Curie provide care to terminally ill people in their own homes or in our hospices.
We involve volunteers in all areas of the charity from raising funds in the community to telling local communities about the charity. From serving customers in our shops to supporting patients in our hospices and visiting patients in their own home. And from sharing experiences of end-of-life care to supporting our administration and project work.
All our volunteers contribute to our ultimate aim of ensuring everyone with a terminal illness will have the high-quality care and support they need at the end of their life in the place of their choice.
So if you're one of our many fantastic volunteers, thank you so much for all you do.
Do you have a question?
If you have any questions about your role, then the best thing to do is to speak to your line manager. In the meantime we've put together some answers to common questions volunteers ask us.
Share your experiences
Our volunteers send us great photos of them volunteering from time to time and we've put together an image gallery to showcase some of the best. Take a look at our gallery and if you want us to add an image of your own, please send your picture to email@example.com
