Everything you ever wanted to ask a Marie Curie Nurse (and weren’t afraid to ask!)

To celebrate International Nurses Day this year, we asked Clare, one of our Marie Curie Nurses, to answer questions submitted by our supporters about what it’s really like to be a nurse.

Having been a Marie Curie Nurse since 2008, Clare was able to draw on her vast and varied experience of caring for all kinds of people in their own homes to answer our questions.

From questions about how to pursue a career in palliative care, to what it’s like to share in someone’s final moments – we had some fantastic responses from Clare, and we’ve gathered some of our favourites for you to enjoy.

A huge thank you to Clare for joining us, and for answering so many questions with such openness and warmth.

If you found Clare’s insight as fascinating as we did, you can find out more about what our nurses do or read more of our nurses’ stories today.
