The Saturdays support Chari-tea
Press release published
Top girl group The Saturdays took time out from their busy schedules to hold a Blooming Great Tea Party for Marie Curie Cancer Care, and are asking fans to hold their own tea party this summer to help raise funds for the charity. Frankie from The Saturdays said: “Holding a Blooming Great Tea Party is a great excuse to invite your mates round, put on your best summer dress and host a tea party that can make a difference. You’ll not only have a lot of fun, but also raise funds so that Marie Curie Nurses can continue to provide free care to people with terminal cancer in their own homes.” Mollie added: “We had such fun at our tea party, it’s a great way to get all the girls together for a good cause.“ Marie Curie Cancer Care is asking people to hold a Blooming Great Tea Party this summer. This can be anything from a cuppa and cakes in the office, a vintage inspired high tea with the girls to a garden tea party with the family. It’s a great way to get together with friends and family to do something easy and fun for charity. The official tea party season is from June 12 to July 12 but it doesn’t matter if you’re a little early or late. Money raised from Blooming Great Tea Parties will help Marie Curie Nurses to provide more free care to people with terminal cancer and other illnesses in their own homes.
