Borneo Kit List

Important: Your main luggage should weigh no more than 20kg for the flight and should weigh no more than 10k for the trek.

For the jungle, you will carry your own rucksack on trek to each camp (carry only what you need in the jungle, spare underwear, socks. etc – the packing checklist below will weigh approx. 10kg), plus water (between 2-4 litres). The main luggage will be left at the hotel in Kota Kinabalu, you only have access to this when you are back at the hotel.

We advise you wear your walking boots on the flight, just in case your luggage goes astray. Please do not tie anything to the outside of your rucksack.

Please note there will be the opportunity to leave luggage that is not needed on the trek at the hotel in Kota Kinabalu.
