London Landmarks FAQs
Have a burning question about your upcoming event? These FAQs should cover everything you need to know. If there’s something we haven’t answered please feel free to get in touch at team@mariecurie.org.uk or on 0800 716 146.
When is the London Landmarks Half Marathon?
The London Landmarks Half Marathon will take place on Sunday 12 April 2026.
Where is the event?
The event takes place in Central London. The race will start on Whitehall and finish next to Trafalgar Square.
When does the race start?
Every runner will be allocated a starting wave between 9:20am and 10:40am. Your London Landmarks organisers will be in touch closer to race day with your starting time.
What if I become injured or need to cancel my place?
If you have a Marie Curie charity place, please email our supporter relations team at team@mariecurie.org.uk or call 0800 716 146.
If you have your own place straight from the event organisers, please visit the London Landmarks Half Marathon website for full information.
When will I receive my race day information and running number?
You'll receive your race packs approximately 2 to 4 weeks before the event. This is the same for international runners. Everything you need will be included in your pack and you won't need to collect anything on the day. We'll also email you your Race Day Guide and starting wave details a few weeks before the event.
If you have any queries or don't receive your pack, please contact the London Landmarks Half Marathon Customer Services team on support@llhm.co.uk or check out their website.
Will there be toilets and drinks stations?
For details about support on the day, please email the event organisers at support@llhm.co.uk.
What should I do about travel and accommodation?
The London Landmarks Half Marathon website is the best place to gather everything you need for booking transport and accommodation. It's worth booking early so you can choose what suits you best. And when it comes to road closures on the day, also take a look at the website for the latest updates.
What will I receive when I sign up?
As part of the team you'll receive:
- access to our Runners' Zone and training app with training plans, tips and advice
- regular e-newsletters with fundraising support and advice to help you smash your target
- a Marie Curie running vest
- on-hand support from our fundraising team.
- on-the-day support from our dedicated events team
- a loud and proud cheer squad on the day to help you through those tough miles.
What's my fundraising target?
If you have a Marie Curie guaranteed place, your minimum sponsorship is £380. If you have a ballot place, we just ask that you raise as much as you can for Marie Curie.
What if my Marie Curie top hasn't arrived or is the wrong size?
Please contact us as soon as possible on team@mariecurie.org.uk so we can get one out to you ahead of race day.
Where will Marie Curie be on event day?
We'll have dedicated cheer points on the day and we'd love your personal cheer squad of family and friends to join us! We'll be updating information about our plans closer to the event.
