Sending us the money you’ve raised
Once you’ve collected your Swimathon sponsorship, here’s how to send us the money.

Thank you for taking part in Swimathon 2017. We hope your challenge went swimmingly – and that you’ve achieved your personal goal in the pool and smashed your sponsorship target.
As Swimathon’s charity partner this year, the money you’ve raised will help Marie Curie Nurses keep supporting families like Sue, Grace and Gordon when they need us most.
So thanks again for taking on Swimathon and helping us care for people living with a terminal illness in communities across the UK.
Every £20 you raise through Swimathon pays for a Marie Curie Nurse to look after someone in their home for one hour, providing vital care and emotional support.
How to send in your money
There are two ways to send us the money you’ve raised:
By post
Pay in the cash you’ve raised into your personal bank account. Then send us a cheque made payable to Swimathon with your completed sponsorship form – it’s available in your fundraising pack or you can download it here.

By using JustGiving
If you’ve set up a Swimathon JustGiving page for your challenge, all the money you’ve raised will be automatically sent to us after your event, so there’s no need for you to do anything.
How to increase your total donation by 25%
To help your donation go even further, remember to ask people to choose Gift Aid when they give their sponsorship.
Simply ask your sponsors to read the Gift Aid Tax Declaration and tick the Gift Aid column when they are completing their details on your sponsorship form.
