Explore the Canadian Rockies

(24 June - 2 July 2016)

The Canadian Rockies is considered a bucket list destination for many, filled with inspiring scenery and wildlife that will take your breath away. Experience the rugged beauty of Canada's wilderness, including the stunning UNESCO world heritage site Yoho National Park. The exquisite grandeur of the park will prove unforgettable. On this experience of a lifetime you’ll also explore towering mountains, turquoise-blue lakes, gleaming glaciers and enchanted forests. This eight-day trip includes five days of trekking. As with all our events, Marie Curie will support you by providing fundraising ideas and training guides. On the trip you'll be accompanied by Marie Curie reps, so we’ll be with you every step of the way – literally.

Walk the Great Wall of China

(5 – 13 May 2017)

Join us in Beijing for a trip of a lifetime, trekking along the Great Wall of China in support of our Marie Curie Nurses. This is a nine-day trip with five days' trekking. You will walk the 15th century Ming Dynasty hardrock wall before descending on local trails to experience the rural life of people in the Hebei Province. The challenge finishes with a day to explore bustling Beijing, a visit to Tiannemen Square and the Forbidden City, as well as a shopping experience in the Chinese silk markets.

Grand Canyon trek

(18 – 25 March 2017)

Discover the magnificent geological wonders of the Grand Canyon by exploring the awe-inspiring landscape of Havasupai, land of the blue-green waters and gem of the Grand Canyon. On this trip you will descend into the canyon from the rim at Hualapai Hilltop and follow the trail along the canyon floor as the red sandstone walls rise high above. You’ll experience the natural beauty of the American West as you trek through waterfalls and valleys, descend Mooney Falls and see the famous Carbonate Canyon.
