Marie Curie's first-ever TV ad

Hooray, the first of March is here! Hope you're proudly wearing your daffodil today and will continue to do so throughout the month. And speaking of wearing daffodils, we have even more reason to celebrate: our first-ever TV ad starring the amazing actress Alison Steadman.

Alison’s mother was cared for by Marie Curie Nurses during her final months and she explains in the new advert how she wears her daffodil each March to say thank you to the nurses. The commercial then asks everyone, whatever their reason, to show their support for the charity by wearing a daffodil this March. The ad starts today and will air throughout the month so stay tuned during programme breaks to hear Alison’s story. If you can’t catch it on tele, watch it on the Great Daffodil Appeal website. So for whatever reason you haven’t picked up your daffodil yet, use our daffodil finder to find a collection or box near you or give us your details and we’ll post one to you.
